Free art, y’all! Come and get it! I’ll say it again: FREE AMAZING ART!

As of February 7, 2017, all images of public-domain works in The Met collection are available under Creative Commons Zero (CC0). So you now have more than 375,000 images of artworks from their collection to use, share, and remix—without restriction.

That’s right. You can now search their archives for your favorite works and if the artwork is within the public domain, then it’s free to download and use however you want! For more information check out their Open Access Policy that shows you the icon to look for, as well as some handy categories to start your browsing.
